Case Study: Boom in Requests (+8,600%) in Lockdown Phase

Case Study: Boom in Requests (+8,600%) in Lockdown Phase

Web marketing project for La Tenda - Bergamo

October 2020 The Lockdown Phase has hit the country's economy hard, especially those activities that require the physical intervention of man, unable to work remotely. Now, let's go into detail about the type of customer, the web marketing strategy applied and finally the results.

The customer

The client is La Tenda, a historic shop that has been making high-quality custom-made interior and exterior curtains since 1971. It is therefore a family-run B2C business, managed by the owner Armando Tasca and his wife Estephanie. Their need, in a period of total closure of production activities, was to generate requests and orders to be made and installed at a later time.

Our approach and applied strategy

The strategy we applied was to generate requests on the site for the creation of outdoor curtains, through Social Media Advertising aimed at a local and well-targeted audience. In support, a Google Ads Campaign was also created, intercepting users who expressed interest in the product: "Outdoor Curtains" Only those who confirmed the request for a quote within a few days received an immediate 40% discount. After clicking, users landed on a page built specifically for this promotion, technically called a Landing Page , in which we used the concepts of time scarcity, with a timer that showed the expiration of the promo and social proof through reviews, to increase trust in the company. Below, here is our point of contact, the form to fill out to request a quote.

the results obtained

Below we report the Google Analytics graph that shows the trend of conversions over time and, as you can see, the requests for quotes were 87, recording an increase of +8600%. This allowed us to record revenue even during the Lockdown period, remembering that the physical Store was closed.
