Linkedin Bot: How It Works and Why It Could Be Right for You

Linkedin Bot: How It Works and Why It Could Be Right for You

LinkedIn is the social network that generates 80% of qualified leads in B2B : a real goldmine still rich in potential customer contacts that can fuel a sales cycle.

If you have a profile on this platform, you will undoubtedly know how difficult it is to build a large and functional network of contacts for your type of business.

It often happens that connection requests are either ignored or are addressed to people who are not interested in getting in touch.

Not to mention the consistency factor. It is well known that to have an effective profile you need to dedicate time practically every day, sharing and creating valuable content .

LinkedIn is undoubtedly the best platform for building successful professional connections, but it doesn't work automatically.

For this reason today I want to talk to you about Linkedin Bots.

Premise

After a brief introduction to the world of LinkedIn and its potential, a premise is needed before I delve into the main topic of this in-depth analysis.

Most people like you don't have time to cultivate their presence on Linkedin that much : I know because we follow several profiles in the Agency that we use on behalf of the client.

For this reason we decided to field test the Bot's features.

Linkedin Bots: What They Are and How They Work

First of all, let's specify what is meant by Linkedin Bot . They are programs created specifically to make things easier on the platform, helping you save time and effort, performing many tasks automatically.

All this allows us to automate operations and processes based on our needs and business objectives.

Using a Linkedin Bot allows you to do some operations for us such as:

  • Send personalized messages

  • Invite contacts to join your network

  • Visit profiles

  • Approve skills

  • Create real funnels, integrating the various steps previously listed

Why do I feel like recommending them to you?

Because we have tested them, directly in the field. Here I leave you the link of one of our Case Studies in B2B where, through the integration of the Bot with Linkedin Ads, we managed to generate more than 700 qualified contacts .

Some factors to consider

Moving beyond the moral and ethical questions about the use of artificial intelligence in human relationships, Marketing Automation has become an essential element in the Digital field.

The tool in question, if used correctly, presents countless advantages at a strategic level , such as:

  • Get qualified leads

  • Cultivate relationships

  • Spread product culture (very useful, especially in different sectors)

  • Have a higher conversion rate than traditional advertising

  • Integrate the Bot part, with Advertising

  • Increase visibility and improve reputation, both personal and corporate

  • Save time

Not bad, right?

Alas, we also have to go to the other side of the coin.

In these lines I have analyzed and described the benefits of using a Bot on Linkedin, making you understand how these software are very useful for growth on this platform, but it is important to point out that they are not 100% reliable .

Performing many actions in a short period of time, in fact, could lead to a possible ban (first temporary, and then permanent) of the profile by Linkedin. My advice is to use these support tools with awareness.

In conclusion

From my point of view and my professional experience, Linkedin Bots are very useful to the cause, especially in a historical moment in which the rules for generating contacts in companies have changed: agents are struggling to get received and trade fairs have not yet resumed .

It should be remembered, however, that LinkedIn, like all other social networks, is a relationship platform, and that these tools should therefore only help to optimize time and effort, to do the "dirty work" , but that they can never replace you in trying to start new conversations, interest a person and make them trust you.
