A little over a year after the publication of the business service, by the company owned by Facebook, some updates have been released that allow for better performance from the application. In particular:
Availability for the iOS version: since April 2019, the version for Apple devices has also been officially released in Italy, although with some aspects to be reviewed regarding the biometric access functionality, not yet activated for everyone.
Analytics on sent messages: you will therefore have the possibility to check the statistical data relating to the progress of the activity on the application, such as seeing the number of messages read, in order to monitor and improve the various active campaigns.
Whatsapp ads: the introduction of advertising content in the "status" will soon be available, just like on Instagram, thus encouraging users to get in touch with companies.
New messaging features: In addition to the feature already announced a year ago, relating to the introduction of "away messages", "welcome messages" and immediate and automatic responses have been integrated, to be sent when a customer tries to contact the company, thanks to the saved messages feature.
Catalogs on Whatsapp business: at the Facebook developer conference "F8" 2019, the news regarding the integration of catalogs using Whatsapp business was announced. This feature would therefore allow the company to show its customers the products, details and prices without having to force the user to open external links.
